CMN Brand Identity
A fresh new look with bold new hues was the mission. Henry Cardenas wanted to keep the same foundation but modify an unbalanced previous logo. The core idea was to stand out between competitors and embrace CMN’s culture through powerful colors. Many different treatments were done for business cards in order to achieve a unique finish. The distinct asymmetrical die cut makes it modern and approachable.
Wrigley’s Extra Gold Cup Ad 2011
A soccer feel was crucial for this ad. Many different revisions had to be made based on conservative decisions from client. However the end result is a clean and sporty feel. Many photo manipulations had to be done in order to achieve the desired look. The main goal was to showcase product and promote their website.This ad will run throughout the Gold Cup.
Wrigley’s 5 Gum Magazine
A highly illustrated cover with minimalistic layout was the foundation for this piece. Wrigley’s 5 Gum is all about stimulating your senses and creating a very unique ambience. The magazine recaps a yearly event called Vive Tu Musica with 5. The challenge was to make the magazine consistent from start to finish. All images were retouched and color corrected with a dark/high contrast touch.
HILTON GARDEN INN
Trampolines, ample artificial scenery and great disposition was key for the Hilton Garden Inn catalog. Surreal was the idea. Developing a connection between the launch of the environmentally friendly suiting, exclusive apparel and unconventional efficacy made this piece a unique collateral for HGI. Great custom printing and a delicate soft touch coating was applied to the front and back cover. Its various spreads, folds and different color weights made this catalog a strong seller.

A soft approach was the most important element in the retouching process. The mission was to make the eyes stand out and show the beauty of the model and make-up.
SOUTHWEST BROCHURE
This Southwest brochure was to reflect the image of the brand itself. As a Cintas partner, accommodation was vital for optimal results. The idea behind this was to create a ‘Southwesty’ feel, in other words lively and approachable. Over sized paper with UV coating for the front cover was the final decision, for execution.
NEW YORK SHOW BOOKLET
One of the most of important tradeshows for Cintas was the final destination for this booklet. It highlights Cintas understanding for fashion and a fresh retail feel. High-end clothing was showcased with a sense of sophistication.
VIRGIN AMERICA SCARF
A collateral used to introduce a new scarf with an attractive style for Virgin America. This design illustrates and resembles the beautiful lines and colors on the scarf which also help bring out its pattern. Guidelines were followed to merge Cintas standards with Virgin America.
FOOD ARTS
This ad template was created to appear in multiple well known food magazines including, Food Arts. The design is based on a heroe shot with minimal information that communicates crucial messages. The idea was to create a easy to modify template for quick turnarounds.
Westin
Hierarchy: the distinction in color. To create a fresh and modern, yet intentional half assed illustration with character. Font and layout were to follow Westin brand standards.
DELTA POSTCARD
This Delta postcard was created to promote and showcase Cintas products. Extensive white space was clearly used to provide a feel for oxygen to the design. A mesh of a showroom along with a runway airport were the theme of the piece.
FOUR POINTS SELLSHEETS
If this were to be described as a location, I would name it, Tenacatita, Jalisco. A faultless, incomplex town in Mexico, whose breathless grace is often overlooked. The fonts represent the clarity of water and the purity of sand. Many vivid colors were used.
SCRUBS POSTCARD
This best scrubs postcard was created to promote and showcase Cintas products. Extensive use of bright colors were clearly used to provide a retail look. Usage of complementary colors was a key idea.
